Bouygues UK reaches structural completion of North Middlesex University Hospital
Bouygues UK Site Engineer, Rebecca Hall, based on the NMUH Project has taken her skills to a remote Nepalese village to help build homes for a community recently freed from slavery.
In an effort to cut down injuries, Bouygues UK has introduced a daily workout regime for the site workers. Bouygues UK invited Building magazine to come and take a look.
Pupils from local schools recently visited site to see their artwork displayed on the hoarding.
Viewing Portholes have been established in the site hoarding at two locations.
It was a key moment for everyone on site at North Middlesex University Hospital on Wednesday 30th April, as the official New Hospital Ground Breaking Ceremony took place. Nearly 100 staff, stakeholders and VIPs attended.

Enabling works commenced on site on 6th August 2007
Following the successful handover of the new North Middlesex University Hospital to the Trust in April, the client has now fully decanted into the new building. The new hospital is now open for business: the Accident & Emergency (A&E) Department went live on 28th May and the official opening of the new building was held on 1st June – a mere six weeks after handover, quite an achievement.
