North Middlesex University Hospital (NMUH) and Bouygues
The £118 hospital development will open its doors to patients in June 2010. The building will provide state of the art facilities for many health services, improving the standard of care that the Trust provides to local people and making the patient experience a better one.

Clare Panniker, chief executive of the NMUH Trust, said:
“I am very proud that our hospital development remains on budget and will open as originally planned in 2010. It’s nice to deliver some good news during such a difficult time for many people and a sound investment in local hospital services can only be positive. I am pleased that so many key stakeholders witnessed this important moment in the history of the North Mid”.
Kevin Howell, director of hospital development, said:
"Today's celebration is a testimony to both the strong partnership between the Trust and the PFI Consortium and the support of the hospital staff, patients and visitors who have had to endure considerable disruption while the construction takes place. The project is currently ahead of programme and it is fitting that we have this opportunity to celebrate with so many of the people who have made this aspiration a reality".

“We started on site in August 2007 so reaching this important milestone is testament to the fantastic efforts of the Bouygues UK team and the excellent working relationship we share with the Trust. We are extremely proud to be involved in a project that will have such a positive impact on the local community and look forward to handing over the completed hospital to the Trust in 2010.”
